Mudanzas

22 + 22 Mudanzas

Jewelry and Poetry

Collective exhibition curated by Marina Gurman and Grego García Tebar

From October 25 to November 22, 2025, Galerie Noel Guyomarc’h presents 22+22 Mudanzas, a group exhibition combining jewelry and poetry—an idea born from the encounter between Argentine poet Marina Gurman and Catalan jeweler and gallery owner Grego García Tebar. The opening will take place on Saturday, October 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Presented last spring at the Catalan gallery Amaranto Joies, this interdisciplinary exhibition offers a dialogue between jewelry and poetry—a delicate weaving between two disciplines. For the curators, jewelry is a poem, and a poem, jewelry. Both share the same alchemy: the art of transforming matter, playing with metaphors, inventing a new language, moving us, and allowing us to show the world differently. A poem transports us; jewelry is worn.

Marina and Grego have invited international artists, 22 poets and 22  jewelers—the Mudanzas, which could be translated as movers—pairing them in duos for a dialogue around an assigned word. These words echo the questions and challenges of our contemporary societies: Binary, White/Blank, Loop/Coil/Curl, Contagion, Password, Conversation, Mirror, Wait/Waiting, Starry, Gravity, Imperceptible, Interference, Invisible, Hands, Map, Table, Migration, Shore/Edge, Portable, Signal, Silence, Testimony.

The opening reception will take place on Saturday, October 18, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Poems are available upon request
