Born in Kyoto, Japan, Mari Ishikawa is graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in 2001 in Munich, where is still living and maintains a studio.
Ishikawa expresses parallel worlds hidden in everyday life through her jewelry. Using various elements from the natural world as a theme, her jewelry, awakens the senses when touched, allowing one to feel the ever – changing moments in nature. Ishikawa has received numerous awards, including the Herbert Hoffmann.
